AI & Scheduling Disclaimer
What Shiftly's outputs are, and — just as importantly — what they are not.

1. Suggestions, not decisions
Shiftly generates draft rotas and checks from the information you enter. Every output is a starting point for you to review, edit and approve. You remain responsible for your final rota and for all employment and scheduling decisions.
2. Not legal, payroll, tax or safety advice
Working-time limits, mandatory rest breaks, minimum wage, overtime, holiday entitlement, young-worker rules and health-and-safety obligations vary by country, region and sector and change over time. Shiftly does not interpret or guarantee compliance with any of them.
Our coverage, rest-interval and overtime flags are planning prompts based on the thresholds you set — not a legal assessment. Where requirements apply to you, follow them and consult a qualified professional if unsure.
3. We never handle wages
Shiftly is scheduling software only. It does not run payroll and does not collect, hold, pool or transfer wages or any other funds. Our payment processor is used solely to collect your Shiftly subscription fee.
Hours produced by Shiftly are indicative for planning. They are not a wage calculation and must not be used as the final basis for pay. Your own official records remain the source of truth.
4. Accuracy and limitations
Automated scheduling can contain errors, miss context or make assumptions. Always check coverage, rest gaps and individual availability against your real-world knowledge before publishing a rota to your team.
5. Your responsibility
By using Shiftly you acknowledge that:
- You will review and approve outputs before relying on them.
- You are responsible for lawful, fair treatment of your staff.
- You will not present Shiftly outputs as legal, payroll or professional advice.
